After attempting to plan a Covid Wedding, Layne & Colin just decided they didn't want to wait any longer. They texted me three weeks prior and we set a date for them to elope on a Thursday. It ended up storming, so we pushed to Friday and I'm so glad we did. The weather and sunset was just perfect for their big day. Colin arrived early, so I placed him and then went to find Layne in the parking lot. They had a sweet first look while their family watched from a distance, said a quick thank-you to all who attended and started and finished their ceremony all in 10 minutes. We took family photos and then shooed them to the restaurant while Layne, Colin and I explored the area for more bride & groom photos. I'm so happy they brought their sweet pup Eevee, too! It was seriously the perfect summer sunset elopement with all of those hazy mountain layers.
